So picturesque it's hard to believe they're real: The four fairy-tale villages of Vietnam that make for a truly magical getaway.
Cu Lan Village in Da Lat
Tiny stilt houses, pure air, and warm-hearted people characterize this quaint village of the K’Ho ethnic minority in Lam Dong Province located about 20km away from Da Lat.
Cu Lan is named after a local plant species that flourishes between the rows of pine trees throughout the village and surrounding region.
Many villagers and guests enjoy walking along the small paths connecting the small thatched-roof houses. Others prefer to venture over rush bamboo bridges to meadows of purple, violet, and yellow daylilies.
The village offers a variety of interesting activities such as kite flying, hiking, boat rowing, fishing, picnicking, folk games and gong performances.
Binh An Village in Da Lat
Binh An Village is an oasis of flower filled gardens and enchanting landscapes.
The fresh and year around cool air of Da Lat make the village a perfect place to relax and soak up the beauty of nature. It’s a truly romantic place for lovers.
Tam Thanh Mural Village
A large group of volunteers from the Republic of Korea (ROK) turned their artistic talents into transforming the Tam Thanh fishing village in Quang Nam into the first mural village in the nation.
In total, 11 artists and volunteers from the ROK along with many local students gave the walls of 100 houses a facelift. In all, there are more than 70 paintings reflecting the lives of the local people and the friendship between the peoples of the two nations.
French Village in Danang
The French Village is inspired by the journey around France of Pigneau de Behaine, the first foreigner to have arrived in Ba Na. It captures the romance of France with its spired roofed ancient houses hidden in the fog.
At the French Village, guests have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the antique, majestic space of sophisticated architecture representing French regions.
Britany Town features authentic French culture characteristics of thick stone walls, sharp sloping roofs, large yards and the St Denis Church with its arch roof, rough stone walls and colourful windows in the shape of rose petals.
The French Village Complex includes scalloped-shape Conques Aveyron Village, peaceful and pristine Apremont sur Allier village and Chenonceau Castle with its elegant, luxurious and ancient beauty.
