Especially, since the Resolution No. 08 / NQ - TW of the Politburo on "Developing tourism to become a key economy" in 2017, the smokeless industry of Bac Lieu province has been paired with wings. In order to realize the set goals and in fact, there have been very important steps, gradually turning Bac Lieu into one of the tourist centers of the Mekong Delta (Mekong Delta). Generally, over 2 years of implementing Resolution 08 / NQ-TW, Bac Lieu welcomed over 3 million visitors, an average increase of 22% / year, of which, over 91,000 international visitors, more than 1.2 million. In 2019, the tourism industry in Bac Lieu province aims to welcome 2.3 million visitors (up 25.7% compared to 2018), of which, with 66,000 international visitors; the number of visitors using accommodation services was 874,000 (increasing by 25.76%); revenue of over VND 2,200 billion (up 25.3%), of which, restaurant and hotel sales at VND 880 billion (up 35.8%).
Over the past 2 years, Bac Lieu has focused on developing the quantity and quality of many tourism products.
Many specific products with large scale and competitiveness are formed one by one, contributing to diversifying the tourism picture of the province. Besides improving the quality of products that have affirmed the brand such as Quan Am Buddha radio, the souvenir art area of Don Ca Tu Nam Bo musicians and musician Cao Van Lau, the cluster of Bac Lieu Dasher, Hung Vuong square ... Bac Lieu province also increased investment calling for new projects. In addition to the recognized wind power tourism destination in 2019, Bac Lieu has 9 typical tourist destinations.

Increasing investment attraction
Since the beginning of the year, Bac Lieu has organized many trips to survey the situation of activities in tourist areas, tourist attractions, tourism service businesses in the city. From the available potential, proactively making efforts and opening up investment and cooperation to develop, Bac Lieu is speeding up the implementation progress to complete the Project of Quan Yin Buddha Tourist Area Project, especially the items. build Quan Yin mountain; propose measures to build Giong Nhan tourist area into a key ecotourism area of the province; calling for investment in ecotourism area associated with sightseeing of wind power, bridge and playing area at sea; completing Nha Mat - Cai Cung coastal tourist route project to call for investment in this tourist route; continue to renovate and embellish historical and cultural relics in association with organizing tourism services to attract tourists.
