Com lam - specialty of Northwestern Vietnam

Com lam (steamed sticky rice in bamboo tubes), a specialty in Tay Bac (the northwestern region), is a "must try" dish for visitors to the region which is home to various ethnic minority groups.



Glutinous rice is cleaned and soaked in water for 6-8 hours before being put into bamboo tubes
