The central province of Nghe An’s Vinh City opened a pedestrian night street on Wednesday.
Around 114 shops are allowed to operate along the street with diversified products such as souvenirs, footwear and clothes and food and drinks with local specialities.
The street is opened from 6:30 to 11:30 pm from every Friday to Sunday. After this time, all shops have to stop their business activities. They are also required to strictly conform to environmental protection regulations.
The 200-metre street runs from Tran Phu Street to Vinh Market.
The week to mark the street's inauguration will last until October 10, including many arts programmes.
