Hanoi’s best restaurants for vegetarian food

A new generation of restaurants featuring meat-free menus has left vegetarians in Hanoi spoiled for choice during the Vu Lan festival, a time when many people traditionally eat meatless.



Loving Hut is the fastest growing international vegan chain of restaurants with over 120 branches worldwide.



There are four branches in Hanoi offering gourmet cuisine made with wholesome, vegan ingredients.



The Bo De Tam Restaurant is centrally located in Hanoi and offers a vast range of Vegan choices.



The food is a bit expensive and the ambiance is dull but it’s the food that will keep you coming back.



Ngoai O Quan Restaurant has a wide variety of dishes on the menu for under US$2.24 (VND50,000), which is much too cheap to be real organic vegan food.



                    The restaurant is located at 63 Tran Duy Hung Street.



Com Chay Ha Thanh Restaurant is a sort of vegetarian place that has a lot of faux meat dishes on the menu, however the vegetarian pho is popular.



                               It is located at 39 Le Ngoc Han Street.



Com Chay Nang Tam Restaurant, located at 79A Tran Hung Dao Street, also serves a lot of faux (fake meat) vegan dishes, but is very popular with the locals.



Com Chay Khai Tuong Restaurant on Kim Ma Street has a good daily plate, excellent spring rolls, mushroom hotpot, with lots of non-fake-meat dishes to choose from with a very friendly staff.
