Agriculture is still precarious.
Right from the beginning of the year, the provincial People's Committee soon implemented the Socio-Economic Development Plan, State budget revenue and expenditure estimates for 2014 according to the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council; at the same time, sticking to and concretizing the tasks and solutions of the Government's direction and administration in accordance with the Resolution No. 01 / NQ-CP of January 2, 2014, suitable to the actual conditions of the locality; focus on synchronously deploying solutions to remove difficulties for production and business activities of enterprises. With the spirit of initiative and efforts of all levels, sectors and people in the province, the results of implementing socio-economic, defense and security tasks in 2014 were achieved as follows:

Rice: due to the restructuring of the crop, the rice cultivation area of the year reached 625,918 hectares, equal to 97.6% over the same period (down 15,422 hectares). The average rice yield reached 64.68 quintals / ha, an increase of 3.02% over the same period. Rice production reached 4,048 million tons, up 0.67% (up 27 thousand tons) over the same period.
