The most romantic spot in the Central Highlands city of Da Lat, Lam Dong province – has attracted a large number of domestic and foreign visitors.
The Valley of Love is around 5km from the centre of Da Lat City.
It is surrounded by green pine forests
Entertainment sites, ornamental plants and parterres have shapes symbolizing love.
The valley covers nearly 140ha.
The valley was called Vallée D’amour (The Valley of Love) by the French in the 1930s.
In 1953, the French name was translated into Vietnamese.
Earlier, it was called ‘The Valley of Peace’ during the reign of King Bao Dai
The Valley of Love was recorgnized as a national tourism site in 1998
