You haven’t decided where to spend the New Year’s Eve yet? Although there won’t be fireworks this year, here are some suggestions for you.
Happy New Year 2017.
Hanoi
You can join countdown parties and art performances with your dears to welcome the first minutes of 2017. The major countdown gathering will take place at the August Revolution Square in front of the landmark Hanoi Opera House (downtown Hanoi).

In addition, art performances will take place at the square in front of the My Dinh National Stadium, the Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc square, to the northeast of the Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake, and the Ly Thai To Statue Park near the Hoan Kiem Lake.
Da Nang
Similar to Hanoi, Da Nang will be home to the countdown party at the March 29 Square (located at 2/9 road) where impressive songs, DJ and light performances will be played.
Ho Chi Minh City
As alternatives to fireworks displays, art performances will dominate streets in the busiest city in Vietnam.
Accordingly, a popular art show will take place at the Gia Dinh Park (Go Vap district) while the Nguyen Hue Walking Street (pedestrians only) will house a spectacular countdown party. A light mapping will also take place on Nguyen Hue Street.

For food lovers, the China Town in this city is a must-go place where you can find a large variety of Chinese-style food.
When you are tired of walking, you can call by a café and watch people go by. Cafes on Nguyen Hue, Ly Tu Trong and Ton That Dam streets at the heart of the city are good choices.
